A friend hired me to design a t-shirt for his colleague's unique weight training service. This started out as a man, but was discarded for being too feminine (it was thought that serious body builders wouldn't want to a big naked man jumping out of their chest. go figure). So i changed it over to a woman, and designed a different shirt for the men. originally the figure was nude, but there were concerns (!?) so a floating sheet/toga/thing was added. as was the spartan helmet thing, and "barbarella hair."

originally the idea was to show a dramatic powerful pose, that evoked old grecian pottery. but then i looked at the style of line art on old pottery and balked. um. blah blah. I don't think i got to where the client, or I, was hoping to go. but i still like it.
I just hope that women with prominent bosoms will wear this shirt and stretch out the art and text sides separately. wee.
